San Diego, Dec 31, 2009 – Earthquakes today: 5.8-magnitude Earthquake in Baja, California rattled the southwest United States today. The quake struck the city at approximately 10:48 a.m. local time, per KPSP-2.
According to reports, earthquake was felt in Tijuana, San Diego, Phoenix and even Los Angeles.

Buildings swayed briefly in San Diego, California good thing that there were no reports of damage or injuries, also in California or Mexico.

The today earthquake epicenter was reported 22 miles southeast of Calexico, California, parallel to the border from Mexicali, Mexico, and closer to Yuma, Arizona.
