Los Angeles, Dec 28, 2009 – Apple rumors: Apple tablet computer and Apple tablet laptop allegations still give a vague image of what actually Apple’s much anticipated tablet will look like when the highly anticipated device will be rolled out in the market early next year.

Apple tablet could either be a 10 -inch computer loaded with a full Mac OS X which capable of running any software that MacBook can run.
Or, it could be just a new “iPod Touch” with a large monitor. Latest, the second possibility came up that a larger-screen “iPod Touch,” similar to HP’s TouchSmart or Axiotron’s MacBook-turned-tablets.
According to reports, Apple has asked applications developers to come up with large-screen concepts of current iPhone apps.
What miht be the caused of Apple tablet delays?
The main reason for the supposed delay is switch in the displays being used: Apple, the report says, wants to use a 9.7-inch Organic Liquid Crystal Display (OLED) on the device, that costs about $500 from the manufacturer, said to be South Korea’s LG Electronics. A display at that cost would push the tablet’s final price into the $1,500 to $1,700 range, too high for most consumers. Posted on businessweek.com
Apple has rented a stage at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco later next year. Same venue when Steve Jobs to make his first public appearance since his recovery from illness in September, when Jobs launched a new range of iPods.

Today is the day that Steve Jobs blessed us with the the glorious Apple iPad. Personally it’s exactly what I thought it was gonna be practically a modified iTouch, I’m actually gonna wait until the next generation to pick an Apple iPad up. I want to see one with multitasking, a camera, usb and a microphone before I’ll make the jump. I especially think that a microphone is the most important feature it is lacking. What do you guys think?
