Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell
Washington D.C., November 4, 2009 – Virginia governor election results: Virginia state board of elections shows that Republican candidate Bob McDonnell has defeated Creigh Deeds of Democrat party in Virginia’s election for Governor race 2009. It seems that his support by GOP members and independents are responsible for his win.
President Obama’s team defeat in Virginia and possible defeat in New Jersey has left him exposed to the shortcomings and firing issues in the first black US President. Washington Post has called President Obama a no factor president. If it has impact on the gubernatorial election 2009, then I can say that “its a big factor”.
Back in New Jersey, the early vote count showed Chris Christie of Republican party lead Democrat Corzine. New Jersey governor race exit polls showed independents heavily favoring Christie.
