Los Angeles, November 16, 2009 – The Prisoner TV Series or The Prisoner 2009 remake will come after Patrick McGoohan, co-creator died earlier this year.
It was a 17-episode British TV series (science fiction and psychological drama with spy fiction) which aired from September 1967 to February 1968.

“John Drake, the protagonist of McGoohan’s Danger Man series (Secret Agent in the U.S.) is “The Prisoner,” the unnamed British agent who abruptly resigns, and then finds himself held captive in a mysterious seaside “Village” that is isolated from the mainland by mountains and sea.”
AMC announced it would stage a remake of “The Prisoner,” I don’t know if the TV series remake would go that way also, but let’s see.
