Philadelphia Marathon 2009.
Pennsylvania, November 22, 2009 – Philadelphia Marathon 2009, Philadelphia Marathon results brings another pack of excitement to the High School students. Some students have their training since February for 26.2 miles steeped-in.
They had gone in many trainings, and their only motivation was “to cross the finish line”.
Benjamin Trieu, 13-year-old student says…
“I’ve learned that there are obstacles in life and you’re going to have to charge through them.”
The marathon start on 22nd Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Awards: The top five male and female finishers in each age group category will take home awards:
* 14 & under
* 15 to 19
* 20 to 24
* 25 to 29
* 30 to 34
* 35 to 39
* 40 to 44
* 45 to 49
* 50 to 54
* 55 to 59
* 60 to 64
* 65 to 69
* 70 & 0ver
Prizes: The top five male and female finishers in each age group category will be issued:
1st – $3,500 one male & one female
2nd – $2,000 one male & one female
3rd – $1,000 one male & one female
4th – $750 one male & one female
5th – $500 one male & one female
1st Masters – $1,000 one male & one female
1st Philadelphian – $1,000 one male & one female
