Richmond, November 11, 2009 – Muhammad execution or John Allen Muhammad execution set on Tuesday night at Virginia, after Gov. Tim Kaine denied a request for clemency afternoon on that day.
Muhammad was sentenced to death for killing 10 people during apparently random sniper attacks in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. in September and October 2002, one of them was Dean Meyers.
A professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder and Death-penalty expert Michael Radelet, agrees that Muhammad’s case is “faster than most cases.”
