Celebrity mug shot: Katt Williams arrested this morning on burglary charges for breaking into a home and stealing approximately $3,500 worth of jewelry and collectible coins on Sunday night.
The comedian, 38, was in Georgia shooting his current movie but was jailed in suburban Atlanta after the report, he has since posted bond and has been released.
According to Attorney William Briggs, Williams had been staying on the property of a personal friend, Barry Hankerson.
Base on police reports, Hankerson’s employee living in the property’s guesthouse, Daniel Broach reported Williams about the bulgary. Attorney Briggs claims there was tension between Williams and Broach that made Broach “vengeful” report, a “faux” burglary.
